Bombing Pakistan By Remote Control

A drone is an remotely powered aircraft used to attack targets without risk to the aggressor in military operations.  The United States first publicly authorized drone attacks in Pakistan in 2004 to combat the “war on terror.” It was reported that al-qaeda and the Taliban had found safe havens in the country, primarily in Federally Administered Tribal Areas in the Northwest, so we sent in drones.

From 2004, drone attacks on Pakistan have been increasing in frequency. In 2009 we were bombing once a week. In 2010, there is a bombing nearly twice a week. Why is this so under reported? Why are we killing so many people? Why are we now escalating our attacks on Pakistan when top officials in the CIA admit al-qaeda is make believe?
